Shettima: Ongoing Reforms Promise a Bright Future for the Country

In a bid to harness Nigeria’s vast pool of talent and skills, Vice President Kashim Shettima has lauded the launch of the “Outsource to Nigeria Initiative” (OTNI), spearheaded by the administration of President Bola Tinubu. The Vice President’s remarks came during the initiative’s inauguration event in Gombe, where he expressed optimism about the reforms underway and their potential to secure a prosperous future for the nation.

The OTNI, aimed at tapping into a portion of the $8.79 trillion global Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) market, holds significant promise for Nigeria’s economic trajectory. Vice President Shettima commended President Tinubu’s visionary leadership, noting his adept understanding of Nigeria’s current standing and potential within the global landscape.

He urged patience from citizens, stressing that the reforms would ultimately yield positive outcomes, propelling Nigeria towards economic prosperity.

The OTNI initiative, according to Shettima, is poised to revolutionize Nigeria’s economic landscape by generating millions of job opportunities and fostering growth in the BPO and Information Technology-enabled services sector. He emphasized the initiative’s potential to leverage Nigeria’s skilled workforce, competitive cost structure, improving ICT infrastructure, and favourable geographical location to attract global investment.
