The former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi is reportedly dead.
Abiola Ajimobi who was recently appointed as the Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress by the National Working Committee of the party is said t have died due to Coronavirus Complications.
The former lawmaker fell ill after testing positive to Coronavirus and was reported to be in a critical condition before the time of his reported death.
He ruled Oyo State for eight years before he was appointed by Adams Oshiomhole as the Deputy National Chairman (South-West) of APC.
Ajimobi was a former Managing director at the National Oil and Chemical Marketing Company, a subsidiary of Shell Petroleum Company.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Ajimobi and his children.

The former governor of Oyo state, Chief Abiola Ajimobi is alive and recuperating from illness.
On Thursday evening, reports of Ajimobi’s death hit social media with many mourning the politician’s demise. However, his media aide, Bolaji Tunji, called on the general public to ignore the report.
Tunji disclosed that Ajimobi was sick after testing positive for coronavirus. AUTHENTIC NEWS GIANT gathered that he was previously in a coma but was reported to have regained consciousness and is responding well to treatment.
