Unknown Gun in the early hours of Saturday, bombed the Njaba police station, destroying the building and killing two police men.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the State command, CSP Mike Abattam, in a statement on Saturday, said that on July 31 at about 1.20 am, a convoy of unknown gun men lunch an attack on Njaba police station.
Both the police station and residential building were all destroyed by the unknown gun men. Our source said that two police men were beheaded by the unknown Gunmen.
There has been spark of violence in Imo state since the Supreme Court of Nigeria removed the duly elected governor of the state, Gov Emeka Ihedioha and replaced him illegally with Hope Uzodimma.
Hope Uzodimma has since then unleashed war on his own people. He allowed fulani herdsmen freedom to kill and graze on people’s farm. These injustices have sparked lots of unrest in the ones peaceful state.
More than 1000 youths have been so far killed by the Imo State government and Nigeria security operatives.
