Terrorists Kill 6, Injure 8 in Southern Kaduna Attack

Terrorists attacked the Ambe community in Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State on Sunday night, resulting in the death of six people and injuring eight others. Confirming the incident, Mansir Hassan, the Police Public Relations Officer of the Kaduna Command, stated that one suspect was arrested in connection with the attack.

Hassan mentioned that upon receiving a distress call, the police and troops of Operation Safe Haven rushed to the community and engaged the bandits in a gunfight. One of the bandits was apprehended, while the others fled into the forest with gunshot wounds.

Daniel Amos, the member representing Jema’a/Sanga Federal Constituency, also confirmed the casualties, stating that six people were killed and eight injured in the attack. He condemned the violence, attributing it to an attempt to disrupt the peace and security in his constituency.

Amos urged residents of Sanga council to remain calm and peaceful as efforts are made to address the insecurity in the area. He called on security agencies to swiftly apprehend the perpetrators and ensure justice is served, emphasizing the importance of prioritizing the safety of the people.

He concluded by offering his condolences to the families of the deceased, the Arak chiefdom, the Sanga council, and the government of Kaduna State. He also prayed for the swift recovery of those injured in the attack.
