It said “The Chairman of the Caretaker/Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Governor Mai Mala Buni, has approved the appointment of the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, to chair the party’s high-level National Campaign Council for the Ondo State governorship election.

“The Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, will serve as the deputy chairman and Mustapha Salihu as secretary of the 104-member APC National Campaign Council.
“The campaign council will be inaugurated on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at the APC National Secretariat by 2pm.”
Other members of the council are the Speaker of the House of Representatives Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege, Femi Gbajabiamila, and other governors elected on the party’s platform and other selected members of the National Assembly. ip election.
