Edo State Governor Godwin Obaseki has with a margin of about Three thousand votes defeated Osagie Ize Iyamu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state governorship election.
Ize-Iyamu is from Orhionmwon. Obaseki scored 13,445 votes in the council to defeat the APC candidate who polled 10,458 votes.
