NDDC: Police storm Joy Nunieh’s residence

NDDC: Court hinders Police, others from arresting Joi Nunieh

The Residence of Joy Nunieh, former acting Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has been besieged by the men of the Nigeria Police.

The security agents arrived at the home, 3, Owuru Creek view, off Herbert Macaulay Street, Old GRA, Port Harcourt, early morning.

Nunieh was due to appear before a Senate panel in Abuja, today.

The upper chamber is investigating the alleged misuse of N40billion NDDC funds.

Nunieh and Niger Delta Minister, Godswill Akpabio, have been engaged in a shouting over match over the crisis rocking the NDCC Interim Management Committee (IMC).
