The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has banned Police and Military Checkpoints including patrols across villages in Former eastern region of Nigeria.

Nnamdi Kanu who was live in his twi-daily broadcast made the announcement following assassination attempt on the Lawyer on Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Barr Chukwuwemeka Richard Okoroafor in SULEJA.

Richard Okoroafor was blocked by group of Hilux filled killer men who rained gun bullets on his vehicle after discovering where Biafra men and women where being held hostage in a military camp in Niger State.

The lawyer who has being an instrument to the release of over 200 Biafran Young men and women who were innocently whisked away by Men of Nigeria Police and Military aftermath the ENDSARS protest in Obigbo.

Some of those released revealed how Nigeria Military men took turns to rape them. The women still in detention in Abuja revealed how they are forced to continuously wear the underwear they have put on since the day of arrest.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu who was furious and buttered how the people of Biafra are being treated unlawfully and inhumane has now put an end to the checkpoints and patrols which always leads to the abduction of Biafra People.

Nnamdi Kanu also wondered why such inhumane treatment will be given to people who does not bear arm but Bandits that rape women on gun points are being treated like kings even to the extent of their leaders demanding amnesty for them.

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu  gave the Nigerian Police and Army forty days to vacate communities and villages within the Biafra territory.

 

AUTHENTIC learnt that about 50 women airlifted from various states in the East by the Nigerian Airforce were meant to be detained for months and being raped by the soldiers.

 

Speaking during the broadcast, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu condemned the assassination attempt on Barrister Richard Okorocha along Suleja – Bida road in Abuja.

 

It was gathered that the lawyer was almost killed few minutes after he left Alfa commando barracks between Abuja and Niger State, where he discovered that one Elvis Ngozi and 109 others who were abducted from the East were being detained in the barrack.

 

Nnamdi Kanu warned that any further attempt to arrest or harass citizens within the East will expose the Nigerian security personnel to become targets.

 

In his words, “I don’t want to see any patrol team of the police anywhere near our communities. We cannot keep quiet while they kidnap our women for rape and abduct our men for annihilation.

 

” We are giving them 40 days to vacate all checkpoints and cease patrolling within our communities”.

 

Mazi Nnamdi Kanu added that the Nigerian security men are afraid of arresting bandits in the north, while they keep molesting innocent people in the east.
