Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke to the media yesterday.

The caretaker manager confirmed that centre-backs Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo are still sidelined through injury. The duo have yet to feature in any of the Norwegian’s four games in charge at Manchester United. Ole confirmed to MUTV: “Rojo and Smalling – they’re out.”

The United legend also confirmed that Paul Pogba is a doubt to feature. The 2018 World Cup winner picked up a knock in our 2-0 win at Newcastle United on Wednesday night following a horror challenge from Jonjo Shelvey. Solskjaer said:

Paul Pogba is a doubt for Manchester United’s FA Cup clash with Reading but Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez will start, caretaker manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed.

The France international picked up what Solskjaer described as “a knock” in the 2-0 Premier League win over Newcastle United on Wednesday, in which he was caught by a high challenge from Jonjo Shelvey.

Pogba could sit out Reading’s visit to Old Trafford on Saturday, while Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo are definitely sidelined, but Solskjaer plans to play Lukaku and Sanchez as he tries to rotate his squad.
Paul Pogba is out of Manchester United’s FA Cup tie against Reading tomorrow.

United caretaker boss Ole Gunnar Solskajer revealed the club’s record £89million signing suffered a knock in the 2-0 win over Newcastle.
Pogba was injured in a brutal challenge from Jonjo Shelvey in the second-half, for which the Newcastle midfielder escaped a caution, and is set to be out of tomorrow’s tie at Old Trafford.
“Marcos Rojo and Chris Smalling are out,” said Solskajer.

“I’m not sure if Paul’s going to be ready, he got a knock against Newcastle.
“If Marouane Fellaini gets through the session today, it’s more or less a full squad.”
Solskajer confirmed Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez will start against Reading.

He said: “There’ll be a few changes and they’ll get a chance.
“Some of them are itching now to play of course – Lukaku and Sanchez will start, that’s important for them because they need more game time.”

Paul Pogba may not feature in Manchester United’s FA Cup tie with Reading on Saturday due to injury, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has confirmed.

Pogba has been in sensational form for United since Solskjaer’s arrival at the club, scoring four goals in four games under the Norwegian.
Defenders Marcos Rojo and Chris Smalling, who are yet to feature under Solskjaer, will not play as they continue their recovery from injuries.

“Rojo, Smalling they’re out,” Solskjaer said, when asked for an injury update ahead of the third-round tie.

“I’m not sure if Paul is going to be ready for this one. He got a knock against Newcastle.

“Hopefully Fellaini will get through the training session but [otherwise] we are more or less a full squad.”

United caretaker-boss Solskjaer made it four wins in four after his side won 2-0 at Newcastle on Wednesday night.
