The Nigerian Army, yesterday, discharged the postings and arrangements of a portion of its senior officers.
Those influenced by this included, Brigadier General NJ Okah who has been posted from Nigerian Army Institute of Technology and Environmental Studies (NAITES)to Army Headquarters Department of Army Logistics and delegated Acting Director of Engineering Services, Brigadier General MA Masanawa from Army Headquarters,Department of Army Policy and Plans to ACADA and designated Commander, while Brigadier General HT Wesley posted from Headquarters Nigerian Army Ordinance Corps to Army Headquarters Department of Army Logistics has been named Director Clothiing and Store; estwhile Brigadier General HG Tafida of the Nigerian Army Central Workshop Rigachukwu presented on Army Headquarters Department of Army Logistics and named Director Engineering and Maintenance
Brigadier General BA Ilori has been presented on Army Headquarters Department if Army Policy and Plans and selected Deputy Director Equipment Procurement. Brigadier General AA Adereti, presented on National Defense College and selected Directing Staff while Colonel O Nwachukwu from Headquarters Theater Command Operation Lafiya Dole has been presented on Defense Headquarters and delegated Acting Director Defense Information.
Essentially, Colonel S Musa has been presented on Directorate of Army Public Relations and named Acting Director Army Public Relations Nigetian Army, while Colonel AA Yusuf has been designated Deputy Director Public Relations 82 Division Nigerian Army. Colonel AD Isa is presented on Theater Command Operation Lafiya Dole and named Deputy Director Army Public Relations, while the new Acting Corps Commander Nigerian Army Medical Corps is Colonel S Adama.
Others influenced by the new improvement incorporate, Colonel OG Olaniyi, who was posted from Nigerian Army School of Music to Nigerian Army Band Corps and delegated Acting Director Army Band, Colonel EI Okoro and Colonel I P Bindul are presented on Army War College Nigeria as Directing Staff among others.
Col. Sagir Musa has been named as acting Director of Army Public Relations.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Musa replaces Brig.- Gen. Sani Usman, who intentionally resigned from administration on Thursday.
Musa’s arrangement was contained in another redeployment of senior officers discharged by the Army Headquarters.
Until the most recent arrangement, Musa was the representative of 82 Division, Enugu.
