Levi Ogbonna Reveals Exciting Plans for Nollywood Comeback After Extended Hiatus

Nollywood actor Levi Ogbonna, who pursued further education in the UK after initially making a mark in the Nigerian movie industry, has returned determined to reignite his career.

Ogbonna’s journey into Nollywood began through the encouragement of his friend, Obinna Egelonu. He appeared in several films, including ‘Last Idiot,’ alongside renowned actors like the late Mr. Ibu, Kingsley Ogbonna, and Tony Muonagor before relocating to the UK.

Now back in Nigeria, Ogbonna is eager to make his mark again and promises to bring a fresh perspective to the industry. “I have already started working; you will see the difference in my work,” he assured.

Reflecting on his time abroad, Ogbonna noted how his experiences have enriched his understanding of people’s lives and cultures. He emphasized the challenges actors face, including periods of unemployment between roles and the need for supplementary jobs to sustain themselves. Despite the challenges, he stressed the importance of commitment and dedication to the craft.

Encouraging aspiring actors, Ogbonna advised them to approach acting with sincerity and to preserve the art for future generations. He expressed his desire to collaborate with industry veterans such as Okey Bakassi, Nkem Owoh, Dauda, Victor Osuagwu, Osita Iheme (Pawpaw), and Chinedu Ikedieze (Aki), among others.

As Ogbonna prepares to embark on this new career phase, his return to Nollywood brings anticipation for the fresh perspective and experiences he will bring to the screen.
