JUST IN: Rivers court removes Lulu-Briggs as governorship candidate

A Federal High Court in Port Harcourt has requested the expulsion of Chief Dumo Lulu-Briggs as the governorship candidate of the Accord Party in Rivers State.

Justice E.A Obile in a three-hour judgment said Dumo Lulu-Briggs did not take an interest in the primaries of Accord Party and ought not be the recipient of the Governorship ticket.

The court, along these lines, requested that the name of Dumo be expelled and supplanted with Precious Baritordoo.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Rivers State had tested the designation of Dumo Lulu-Briggs as the Governorship hopeful of the Accord Party in the State, contending that Dumo neglected to meet the necessity of INEC in the primaries.

Dumo Lulu-Briggs, an oil head honcho drove individuals from his previous gathering, the All Progressives Congress to the Accord Party in the wake of losing the Governorship ticket to Tonye Cole.
