Just in: Presidential Tribunal; Petitions has been withdrawn against Buhari’s elections.

The Peoples Democratic Movement (PDM), one of the political parties that actually dragged President Muhammadu Buhari and the Independent National Electoral Commission of Nigeria, INEC, before the presidential election tribunal, has applied to withdraw its petition challenging the outcome of the last presidential election.

Aliyu Lemu, the lawyer representing PDM, told the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) on Wednesday that his client has instructed him to apply to withdraw the petition.
