The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB has reduced the Application fee of 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.
The percentage decrease of the price is approximately 30%.
REDUCTION OF JAMB APPLICATION FEES
Proceeding from the increased transparency in the management of its resources was the reduction in the cost of the UTME application documents in line with the federal government’ s directive, from N5000 to N3500. This move was hailed by many as it is seen as a manifestation of what the nation stands to gain when the nation’s affairs are conducted in a transparent and fair manner.
PARTNERING WITH THE NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION MANAGEMENT COMMISSION (NIMC)
One of the highlights of the year 2019 is the partnership between the Board and the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
NIMC is the agency saddled with the responsibility of managing identity-related issues in the country.
As such, the directive by the federal government that all issues relating to identity are to be handled exclusively by NIMC came in handy as the Board was already addressing, in its own way, the identity fraud component in the series of infractions noted by the Board.
