The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has deferred the 2019 general elections.

INEC executive, Prof Mahmood Yakubu, who made the declaration early today at the INEC base camp, Abuja, said the deferment pursued a survey of its arrangements which showed that directing the decision today was never again ‘possible’.
