The Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has given details on how the Eastern Security Network Commander Ikonso was killed in Imo State.
Ikonso hails from the Awomama area of Imo state.
Nnamdi Kanu in a broadcast said that the news of the death of Commander Ikonso broke his heart more than the death of his parents and has promised a revenge on those who connived to the brave freedom fighter.
Kanu said that Nigeria and the World will Remember the death of Ikonso .
Nnamdi Kanu revealed that Ikonso was ambushed and then killed in His House while sleeping in house
“He was Killed while sleeping in his house in the middle of the night and they came to kill the child of Heaven.”
“He was the head of a volunteer Army defending his land and this cowards killed him without any provocation.”
“Ikonso will be buried specially, Not Even the Burial of The Oba of Benin will be remarkable as that of Ikonso.”
“In the Battle Field Ikonso is one in a million man, they couldn’t penetrate The ESN Camp.”
“The Army claimed that they killed him in a gun duel but as always they lie. Ikonso was killed in his kindred.”
“Some People (Informants) in his village Betrayed him, Collected money from Hope Uzodinma, Sabotaged his location. He only came to his father house and they came to kill him.”
He was killed after rejecting the offer of Hope Uzodinma to switch to EbubeAgu Security.
Nnamdi Kanu said that Ikonso will be buried in a way that history will remember 2021.
