The Nigeria Police, Bauchi State Command has verified the killing of Musa Mante Baraza, a member representing Dass constituency in the Bauchi State House of Assembly, by unknown gunmen.
Ahmed Wakili, Police Public Relations Officer, DSP on Friday morning verified that the Bauchi assembly member was attacked and killed by the yet to be known suspected gunmen Thursday night at his house in Dass.
He added that the reason of the attack was not yet known, the gunmen are suspected to be armed robbers who broke into his house last night abducted two wives and one year old child after killing the House member.

He also mentioned that a team of Police led by the Dass Divisional Police Officer has moved to the area to start immediate investigation of the crime.
