The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has been seriously infiltrated with fear as he snubs the House of Representatives.
It has been scheduled that the Nigeria head of state will appear before the green chamber to address the house on issues bothering Nigeria Security but reports reaching AUTHENTIC NEWS GIANT has it he will not appear before the house.
Although likes of Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has labelled members of the House of Representatives as a ‘mere toothless bulldogs’ that only exist on paper in the eyes of President Muhammadu Buhari stressing that Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari will not appear before them.
Some Nigerians are with the other options that the president is dead and replaced by double as he will not like to be exposed or embarrassed.
But the meeting has now been called off amidst fears that the president could be exposed as too frail to govern or not mentally-aware at worst, AUTHENTIC learnt.
On Monday, the main opposition People’s Democratic Party PDP’s caucus led by Hon. Kingsley Chinda from Rivers State in a statement asked Nigerians to prevail on their representatives to commence impeachment processes against the president, saying he had failed on his constitutional obligations to protect lives and property.
Earlier on Tuesday, some top allies of the president, led by Nasir El-Rufai, had taken on Mr. Gbajabiamila during an APC national caucus meeting with the president, presidential and multiple sources at the meeting said.
They accused the Speaker of losing control of the House, saying he should not have agreed to let the president be railroaded into a meeting with all lawmakers to give accounts of his leadership amidst widespread chaos.
“The president was at the meeting, but he said nothing, which showed that he supported El-Rufai’s scolding of the Speaker,” a presidential source said.
AUTHENTIC NEWS GIANT learnt that PDP caucus met somewhere at the second floor of the House of Representatives wing (New building) last night to strategize.
Their agenda, it was learnt was to pose some questions and actions that may appear embarrassing to the president should their plan to kickstart an impeachment procedure fail.
It was learnt APC governors advised against the president’s coming for fear of being embarrassed. They expressed shock that many of the APC lawmakers were in cahoots with their PDP counterparts in the embarrassment plot. But on his part, Gbajabiamila pleaded for understanding, assuring that there was no cause to back down on the president’s appearance.
The plea however fell on deaf ears. The meeting, it was learnt ended mid night.
The cancellation would now allow the president to circumvent rendering accounts for handling of national security, especially his enduring defiance to sack service chiefs who are largely deemed incompetent.
