OYC wish to Categorically State that We have the Mandate of Igbo Elders to Persuade those that Unjustly Used Ohanaeze Ndigbo name without Proper Consultative Approval from the various Stakeholders to Withdraw as being a Signatory to the Ongoing Suit Against President Muhammadu Buhari initiated by the Middlebelt/Southern Leaders Forum before an Abuja High Court, as Ohanaeze Elders Council had notified the Legal team to do the needful, the decision to withdraw Ohanaeze Ndigbo name from the legal Suit is in Accordance with Igbo values of appreciation for higher Expectations especially the Completion of 2nd Niger Bridge.
Igbo Youths salute the Southeast Governors Forum for the harmonious relationship between them and President Muhammadu Buhari irrespective of the Rogue Operations of few Igbo  Groups to label them saboteurs, We call Ndigbo to embrace the Southeast Governors as Agents of Propaganda are only playing on the mood of the people for their Selfishness.
OYC is full of hope that International flights will resume operations at Enugu international Airport after Resumption date for International flights on September 5th 2020.

Renovated Enugu airport not enough for South East zone – Imo APC Spokesman, Onwusoanya

The Publicity Secretary of the governing All Progressives Congress, APC, in Imo State, Jones Fcc Onwusoanya, has admitted that the South East geopolitical zone is being marginalized in the scheme of things in the country by the current federal government under President Muhammadu Buhari.

Onwusoanya who spoke while reacting to the renovation of the Enugu International Airport, in a statement on Sunday, lamented that the geopolitical zone had continued to celebrate insignificant federal appointments and insisted that the gesture was not enough to the people of the zone.

He maintained that South East, if given support to occupy the nation’s presidency, would redeem the country from the myriads of challenges threatening the citizenry and her existence.

AUTHENTIC learnt that the airport was shut down last year for a major repair.

The project led to the expansion of the runway from one to three kilometres.

However, the APC spokesman in the statement said, “the fact that every little drop of federal government project on southeast soil or the most insignificant federal appointment is blown to high heavens by us – APC members in the Southeast – is enough evidence that the Southeast is not getting the right deals from the present federal government.

“To get the word across, bluntly; marginalization. Yes, the Southeast is being marginalized. We cannot continue to sweet tongue that fact.

“A people as critically important to the Nigerian union as the Igbos of the Southeast cannot continue to celebrate the opening of a renovated international airport, like we have been given an undeserved gift by a generous father. I dare remind all of us, as a very loyal Party man and full-blooded Igbo, that the Igbos deserve more than they have got, as a right and not a privilege”.

Onwusoanya said, “I doubt if any ethnic group in Nigeria has contributed to Nigeria’s development more than the Igbos. We pay more tax, we create more business opportunities in the country, we have more investments across the country, yet, we are the least patronized by government”.

The Party Chieftain posited, “the only area we are lagging dangerously behind is in the politics of our nation and that’s simply because the system is rigged against us. Throw the political space open and see Ndigbo take over and actually redeem Nigeria”.
