Mbaka who had last week prayed that God will bless the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu for having the courage to fight for his people, said the government is worried because he is blessing Nnamdi Kanu.

The Cleric also admitted that he brought three contractors for the Buhari-led administration to tackle insecurity.

According to him, anyone who tells the Buhari government the truth, will be branded a terrorist.

“Those attacking me are crocodiles but God is ready for them. If their worry is that I’m blessing Nnamdi Kanu, wherever he is God is still blessing him without me.

“Is he not my brother ? Spiritually he is my son so what is their problem? I will continue to speak the truth.

“The last person this administration should fight should be father Mbaka unless the anger of heaven will be upon them because I represent the downtrodden in this country,” he warned.

The Cleric further attacked politicians in the country, describing them as ‘ Coronavirus’ killing Nigerians.

He stated that Nigerians are dying from hunger more than insecurity at the moment.

“Nigerians dying of hunger are more than those dying of insecurity there is stomach insecurity

“Our leaders are the Coronavirus in the country, money meant to build industries for youths to have employment, they are packing it for election,” he added.

Meanwhile, Nnamdi Kanu had told the Igbos to ignore claims by the presidency but should rather defend their brother, the Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry (AMEN), Ejike Mbaka.

Why I’ve been silent against Buhari govt – Mbaka

Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry (AMEN), Ejike Mbaka had given reason he has been silent about the issues affecting the nation and President Muhammadu Buhari administration.

Mbaka, days ago made a U-turn as he called on President Muhammadu Buhari to resign for failing to address the lingering security crisis in Nigeria.

The call generated several controversies as some accused him of being silent for months.

Reacting, Mbaka said he has remained silent because he was waiting for the government to change.

“Entrepreneurs are crying, those dying of hunger are more than those dying of insecurity in this country. There is stomach insecurity.

“I’ve been silent because I have been waiting for them to change but things are getting worse and I represent the downtrodden in this country,” he said.

The cleric went ahead to warn those criticising his messages.

“There are some messages that are like dew, some are like thunder, anybody challenging my message is challenging god of thunder and should be careful,” Mbaka warned.

Why I don’t want to be reported to Pope – Fr Mbaka

Father Ejike Mbaka, Spiritual Director of the Adoration Ministry (AMEN), has said if reported to the leader of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, he may be given a position he will not like.

Mbaka said this while reacting to Nigerians who promised to report him for requesting a contract from the Buhari-led administration.

Recall that after Mbaka asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign forthwith or be impeached, the Presidency in a response through Garba Shehu, President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, accused the priest of making the call now because he was refused a contract by Buhari.

In a reaction, a former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, called on His Holiness, to investigate the cleric and take appropriate action against the minister to ensure that there is discipline within the Church in Nigeria.

According to him, Reverend Father Mbaka has brought the Catholic Church into disrepute, and undermined the faith of the faithful, by his conduct.

He told the Pope in a letter that Mbaka has left the calling and the holy oaths he took, and now dabbles disastrously in politics.

He also noted that the Cleric’s actions go against 2 Corinthians 9:7.

”Your Holiness, By virtue of the Public Procurement Act of 2007, it is a criminal offence to demand and get a government contract without an open public and transparent tender. To legally get a contract in Nigeria, you must tender publicly, and the government must accept the lowest bid. Anything short of that is not just criminal, it is also unethical and unbecoming of a Catholic priest.” He wrote.

But Speaking to members at the Adoration Ministry on Sunday, Mbaka said that the world leaders of the catholic church will clap for him if they know his level of involvement in the country.

He, therefore, advised Buhari to tackle the insecurity in the country rather than attack him.

Mbaka said, ”Why I don’t want them to report to Rome is because If the Pope hears the extent of my involvement, they may give me a position I might not like.

”Don’t think you have a thing to report to Rome. If Rome hears that Fr Mbaka is challenging evil governance, Rome will clap for me.”

Apologise to me now, bandits can kill you – Mbaka tells Garba Shehu

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka of the Adoration Ministry, located in Enugu, has told Garba Shehu, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to President Muhammadu Buhari to apologise to him.

Mbaka also warned Garba Shehu to trade with caution, adding that the President’s mouthpiece can also be killed by rampaging bandits.

Father Mbaka made the demand following Shehu’s recent claims that the clergyman came to Buhari begging for contracts and was disappointed.

Recall that Mbaka had last week asked President Muhammadu Buhari to resign forthwith or be impeached by the House of Representatives.

Angered by the cleric’s outburst, the Presidency, through Mr. Shehu had accused the priest of making the call now because he was denied a contract by Buhari.

Mbaka has now described Shehu’s claims as laughable, saying, “Garba Shehu that is talking, the bandits can kill him too. No amount of security can save them if things get worse.

“They have shown they don’t have reward mechanism. Shehu should be apologising to me.

“They are busy branding communities and states terrorists. If Kaduna, Benue, and other places are branded terrorist states, will Nigeria not be branded a terrorist country?”
