APC National Working Committee Dissolved by Buhari

The All Progressive Congress APC National Working Committee NWC has been dissolved  by the Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari.

This is following all the crisis rocking the All Progressive Congress APC at the National Level that has brought in Victor Giadom as the “legal” Chairman of the Party.

Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad made this known in a tweet on Thursday.

Bashir said the decision was taken at the NEC meeting attended by President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo, embattled Deputy National Secretary of APC, Victor Giadom and some members of the APC National Working Committee, NWC on Thursday.

He also confirmed that Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, has been appointed as Caretaker Committee chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”

He tweeted, “Following the recommendation of President Muhammadu Buhari, the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been dissolved.”

“The decision has just been taken at the ongoing party’s NEC meeting.”

“Governor of Yobe State, H.E Mai Mala Buni has just been appointed as the chairman, caretaker committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC).”

 

APC crisis: Buhari, Osinbajo attend Giadom NEC meeting in Aso Rock

The All Progressives Congress, APC, National Executive Council, NEC, meeting has commenced.

The NEC meeting convened by embattled Deputy National Secretary of APC, Victor Giadom is holding at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

The meeting has in attendance President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo and some members of the APC National Working Committee, NWC.

Buhari’s Personal Assistant on New Media, Bashir Ahmad made the disclosure in a tweet.

“The National Executive Committee (NEC) of the ruling party, the APC has just commenced at the State House, Abuja. President Buhari, VP Osinbajo, Governors and members of the National Working Committee (NWC) of the Party and other members of the NEC are in attendance,” he tweeted.
