The mall’s manager and chief security officer are currently in custody to assist with the ongoing investigation. The police officer involved has been identified as Inspector Taofeek, a member of the visiting 12 PMF squadron to Lagos.
The Commissioner of Police, Lagos State Command, CP Adegoke Fayoade, has instructed the detectives of the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department to conduct a swift and thorough investigation to ensure that the culprit is apprehended. Updates on the progress of the investigation will be provided to the public.”
